Cardano founder Hoskinson alleges that the Wagner rebellion in Russia, which ended after a short period, was a plan between Putin and Wagner forces.
Renowned entrepreneur and founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, recently shared a controversial take on the Wagner rebellion in Russia.
In a recent tweet, Hoskinson alleged that the rebellion was a premeditated plan involving key players such as Yevgeny Prigozhin, leader of the Wagner Group, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Hoskinson’s tweet hinted at a carefully orchestrated scheme to tease out disloyal members within the Russian military, reposition Wagner forces in Belarus, and subsequently stage a strike on Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv.
Here's my hot take on Prigozhin. Putin and Prigozhin planned this months before with Lukashenko to tease out members of the Russian military who aren't loyal, reposition Wagner forces to Belarus for a strike on Kiev, and encourage the Ukrainians to overcommit in the east thinking…

Furthermore, he suggested that, through this plan, the Ukrainian government may have been lured into overcommitting their forces in the east, potentially revealing vulnerabilities that could be exploited.
Recall that the Wagner Group rebelled against the Russian military on June 23, seizing control of Rostov-on-Don and advancing towards Moscow. However, Prigozhin eventually agreed to withdraw his forces after negotiations with Belarusian President Lukashenko.
Hoskinson’s statements have stirred up significant speculation, with analysts pondering the implications of the claims. While no concrete evidence has emerged to substantiate the allegations, they highlight a complex web of potential motivations and maneuvers in the ongoing conflict.
The involvement of Yevgeny Prigozhin, a close associate of President Putin, adds another layer of intrigue to the assertions. Prigozhin, who leads the private military contractor Wagner Group, has been linked to various controversial activities.
However, it is essential to note that these assertions remain speculative, lacking concrete evidence to substantiate the claims. While the Russian-Ukrainian conflict has witnessed numerous complexities and strategic maneuvers, the extent to which the events align with Hoskinson’s hypothesis remains debatable.
Notably, Hoskinson has continued to make headlines in other spheres besides the crypto scene. The Cardano founder’s extracurricular ventures have slipped into the ADA community.
As The Crypto Basic recently disclosed, Hoskinson embarked on an ocean expedition two weeks back as he and a team of scientists aimed to recover fragments of an unidentified object that crashed in the Pacific seven years ago. Hoskinson also announced the grand opening of his family-owned clinic last month.
