Catalytic converters have been stolen across four roads in Stanmore, Harrow within the last week.
Posting via OWL, a local PCSO warned that catalytic converter thefts are ‘back on the rise’.
The note to residents said: “Over the past week we have seen the number of Catalytic Converter thefts go up on the following roads. Ennerdale Avenue x2 Langland Crescent, Taunton Way (and) Aldridge Avenue.
“Please take a look at the list of cars that are being targeted at the moment: – Lexus -Toyota Prius -Toyota Auris -Honda Jazz -BMW series 3.”
”If you do find your Catalytic Converter has been stolen and you would like to replace it then please replace with an after-market one as thieves will not steal these due to the fact that they are not worth anything.”
