As the world becomes increasingly digitally driven, more and more people, especially young adults, are turning to social media channels for quick access to financial knowledge and advice. But are such channels more risk than reward? A recent survey finds that the proportion of Singaporeans aged in their 20s who are on track to meeting their investment goals has plummeted to under a third (32 per cent) in 2023, from 75 per cent in 2019.
