Gemma and Richie McCaw have announced they are expecting their third child together.
On Friday night, Gemma McCaw shared a post on Instagram announcing the happy news.
“Baby number 3 due in 2023 and we couldn’t be happier (or more nauseous),” she wrote alongside a picture of her, her husband and their two daughters Charlotte and Grace.
In the photo, the hockey star and All Blacks legend look delighted while standing among a scenic backdrop of flowering trees, wearing pink-hued outfits.

On his own Instagram page, the famous ex-All Black shared a story with the caption, “Excited to share some news with you all.”
Former All Blacks Dan Carter and Israel Dagg were among the many people to congratulate the happy couple online.
