Ahead of the introduction of the CovidCheck regime at the workplace on Saturday, the testing centres operated by the Luxembourgish military open their doors on Friday.
From 15 January, workers must present proof of either vaccination, recovery from a Covid-19 infection, or a negative test result to access their workplace. Only certified rapid and PCR tests will be accepted.
Those who have recently received their first dose of the vaccine will be able to benefit from free tests by booking an appointment at one of the special testing centres. This offer will be valid until 28 February included.
The army has put up five testing centres:
- Junglinster
- Howald
- Near the Raemerech roundabout in Esch-sur-Alzette
- Friedhof (Diekirch)
- At Lux-Expo in Kirchberg
These centres will also be open on weekends.
Those eligible receive 20 vouchers for tests at one of these centres.
