Cravath partner jumps to Davis Polk, marking latest exit

Davis, Polk & Wardwell said on Monday that it has hired civil litigator Rory Leraris from Wall Street rival Cravath, Swaine & Moore, marking at least the fourth Cravath partner to follow the same path since 2021. Cravath, one of the country’s most profitable law firms, long enjoyed a reputation as a place that few partners ever opted to leave. But such exits have become less rare in recent years as firms show willingness to pay a premium to poach top talent. Read more.
