The investment and economic managers of the Gesime Group, Jorge Horta and Claudia Mestre, respectively, headed the delegation that visited several construction sites here and met with the officials from the Ministry of Industry, the diplomat told Prensa Latina.
They also met with representatives of the Development Bank, specific companies engaged in metallurgy in the cities of Novogrudok, Pinsk, and the Babruisk industrial complex, where agricultural implements are produced.
Perez pointed out that the delegation signed a memorandum of understanding with the company from Pinsk to produce industrial equipment to increase production of liquefied gas cylinders and steel balls for the cement and mining industries.
In all visits, the existing potential for industrial cooperation in the iron and steel sector with Belarus was discussed, as in the times of the USSR, many products were sent to Cuba, such as Belarusian tractors and MAZ trucks.
