Armando Rodriguez, CITMA´s Deputy Minister and leader of the Cuban delegation, told Prensa Latina on Thursday his visit is in response to an invitation sent from Vladimir Gusakov, president of the Presidium of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences.
Rodriguez said they held an important working session where both sides agreed to make a joint call for projects.
Although the Cuban delegation is headed by CITMA´s officials, it is also made up of directors and researchers at the Ministries of Higher Education, Agriculture and Industry as well as from the universities of Havana, Villa Clara and the José Antonio Echeverría Technological University (CUJAE), Rodríguez added.
Since past December, when both countries reached agreements to make joint calls for projects and institutions in Cuba and Belarus, Belarusian representatives have visited Cuba three times, while Cuban experts have visited Belarus twice.
