Two Dumfries eateries have been shortlisted for top prizes in the 2023 Scottish Restaurant Awards.
Casa Mia has been nominated for the European Restaurant of the Year with Benvenuto up for consideration in the Italian Restaurant of the Year category.
Food enthusiasts, restaurant-goers, and culinary aficionados are being asked to cast their votes before the deadline on Monday.
The awards celebrate the outstanding culinary talent, creativity, and dedication that Scottish restaurants bring to the dining experience and members of the public are being encouraged to have their say and support their favourites.
A spokesperson for the awards said: “The Scottish Restaurant Awards are an amazing opportunity to celebrate and showcase the very best and diverse range in Scottish dining.
“With Mediterranean, Japanese, Nepalese and Mexican restaurants amongst others, Scotland is a real paradise for foodies.
“We are thrilled to announce our finalists for 2023 and look forward to revealing the winners at the awards ceremony. Congratulations to all the finalists and good luck.”
The winners will be announced during the grand awards ceremony on Monday, July 3, at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel.
