From true, Italian, woodfired pizza to cheap takeaway pizza – these are best pizza places in Dundee
Thank goodness for pizza, eh?
Whatever’s going on in your life – hangovers, love-splits, late-night munchy attacks, exam revision carb loading – pizza has been a constant source of support and love for us all.
Lucky then that Dundee has a host of top restaurants and drop-in diners with a bucket load of delicious topping offerings.
To make things easier, Dundee Live has grabbed Tripadvisor’s Top 5.
The site always generates a lot of discussion both positive and negative, but it’s a good place to start.
We love a good rummage through Tripadvisor reviews and while some of these restaurants have generated some negative feedback, they’re currently sitting at the top of the tree.

Top of our list is Mozza and one thing its website doesn’t lack is modesty with the headline ‘The word according to the gods of pizza’ leaping out at you from the main page.
It goes on to say that its Neapolitan pizzas are not ordinary and that they have the best taste, the best flavour and the perfect fusion of ingredients. Every pizza, it adds, is cooked to perfection in ‘just 60 passionate seconds’.
Despite two recent dodgy reviews, other customers have left very happy.
One wrote: “We admittedly got to mozza rather late in the evening so rushed ourselves but the staff were still friendly to serve.
“The pizza is quick, consistent and well made. Our food could've been a touch warmer, warmed plates would definitely be nice. The price can't be complained about, so cheap it's lovely.
“Definitely recommend to anyone fancying a quick bite, it'd be lovely in a group but book ahead. Can't say anything bad about it, will definitely be back.”
While another said: “Fantastic pizza that reminds me of Italy. I really enjoyed the food here. Staff were really friendly even though they seemed to be short staffed, food came really quick & it was delicious. Thank you!”
