Olympian Lindsey Vonn Buys Waterfront Miami Beach Home for $10.5 Million
Retired Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn has purchased a waterfront home in Miami Beach for $10.5 million. The 6,200-square-foot residence sits on a half-acre lot with about 100 feet of frontage along the Intracoastal Waterway. The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house was sold by Jonathan Campau, founder of an eponymous brokerage firm, who bought it a year ago for $10.2 million. High Interest Rates Curbed July Sales in Orlando, Florida
Home sales in the Orlando, Florida, area dropped by 13.8% annually in July as interest rates reached a 20-year high, according to data from the Orlando Regional Realtor Association, which looks at sales from Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Lake counties. Meanwhile, sales fell 8.7% compared to the previous month. The median home price also fell for the first time this year, slipping slightly from $385,000 in June to $380,000 in July. A former church in the San Francisco Bay area has been listed for sale—and could be converted to a one-of-a-kind residence. Located in Belvedere, California, the Mid-Century Modern structure dates to 1952 and was designed by local architect Charles Warren Callister. Built with redwood and Douglas fir, the 3,583-square-foot building offers floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows, a cathedral ceiling with a skylight, a gas fireplace and three bathrooms.
