On Monday, Emma Watson made a rare appearance at the Schiaparelli Couture Fall Winter 2022/2023 show at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. She was photographed walking to the event at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, smiling and waving to the crowd. Her look was chic and simple. Watson wore grey wash jeans with shredded knees and a rolled cuff. On top, she was wearing a white button-down with a tie hem and layered a white vest and black shoulder cape on top.
Watson accessorized with Dr. Marten Chelsea boots, a gold ring set with a blue stone, and a black handbag. She left her mid-length wavy hair down, just brushing her shoulders. She had on natural make up, with a light pink lip.
There was also a shot of her sitting in the show’s front row with Euphoria star Hunter Schafer, singer Rina Sawayama, and her friend, journalist Derek Blasberg (who seemed to be holding her purse). She and Blasberg traveled to the event together from the Ritz hotel in Paris, meeting up with other friends and celebrities along the way.
The Paris Haute Couture Week will be running until Thursday after kicking off this Sunday, and Christian Dior, Jean Paul Gautier, and Balenciaga have shows for their new collections scheduled.
Watson has been selective about her acting roles and public appearances in recent years, but she always shows up to the red carpet in notable looks. In an interview with Teen Vogue, she talked about how important expressing herself through clothes is to her, saying, “I love fashion. I think it’s so important, because it’s how you show yourself to the world.”
She also shared a bit about where you likes to shopping, adding, “I shop at Aritzia and Topshop, and I also love A.P.C. and 3.1 Phillip Lim. Chanel is amazing, and I wore a really beautiful black Dior dress recently that I thought was really cool. And I love Christopher Kane, Peter Pilotto…I’m always keeping an eye out for people who are new or up-and-coming.”
