Ryan Garry has named his England MU17 squad for the UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifying round.
The Young Lions travel to Georgia to take part in a four-team group, with the aim of progressing to the elite round of qualifying in the spring and the eventual goal of reaching next summer’s U17 EURO Finals in Hungary.
The MU17s will kick off their qualification campaign against Lithuania on Tuesday in the Tbilisi Sea Technical Center Stadium (kick-off 12pm BST).
That will be followed by a game with hosts Georgia on Friday in GFF Rustavi Academy (3pm BST), before the round concludes on Monday 31 October against Israel back at the Tbilisi Sea Technical Center Stadium (2pm BST).
There are 13 four-team qualifying round groups, with the top two in each joining top seeds Netherlands and Spain in the elite round, along with the four third-placed teams with the best records against the top two in their section.
Those 32 teams will then take part in the elite round of qualifying in the spring, hoping to join hosts Hungary at the 16-team Finals from 17 May to 2 June 2023.
