Wilson Parking is reiterating its support for Covid-19 vaccination after a fake job ad was posted on a pro-choice employment site.
The fake vacancy, for a parking enforcement officer, was posted on the No Jab Jobs site on Wednesday.
It was one of 23 listings on the site, which launched last week, and included a link to Wilson Parking’s website and an email address for applications.
However, a Wilson Parking spokeswoman said the ad wasn’t genuine and hadn’t been posted by anyone in the company.

“We support vaccination, as evidenced by our offer of free parking to anyone getting vaccinated on Super Saturday,” she said.
The company was in the process of having the listing taken down.
In an email on Thursday afternoon, a spokesman for the No Jab Jobs site said the Wilson Parking listing had been removed.
Listings were checked manually before being published and administrators were not aware of any others being fake.
No Jab Jobs was created to help connect people losing their jobs due to their vaccination status with employers willing to take them on, the spokesman said.
About 100 jobseekers had registered so far and word was spreading on social media, he said.
But the reaction online had been mixed, with Twitter users saying the site offered “searchable pariah businesses, right at your fingertips” and was “an excellent resource for businesses to avoid”.
On Tuesday, workplace Relations and Safety Minister Michael Wood announced sweeping new Covid-19 vaccination requirements.
Under the changes, vaccination will become mandatory for all workers at any business where vaccine passports were required for customers, including hospitality, hairdressers and gyms, and employers will have the right to sack workers who refuse.
The new rules will mean that about 40 per cent of the country’s workers will be subject to a vaccine mandate, including the health and education staff already announced
Further mandates are being considered by the Government, including for public sector workers with public-facing jobs.
