First Quarter Brings Strong Capital Gains to Dubai’s Villas and Apartments
As Dubai’s property sector continues to bounce back from the Covid-19 pandemic, villas and apartments recorded promising capital gains during the first three months of the year. Villas, which make up 13% of residences in Dubai, grew 17.1% in value during the first quarter, while apartment values increased by 6.6%, according to a report from ValuStrat. Chicago’s luxury housing market is bucking the nationwide slowdown in demand on the back of rising mortgage rates, according to agents there. Tight supply has buyers hunting for off-market listings and eliciting bidding wars for some homes.
