A woman in her 20s was tragically found dead at the scene.
A police spokesman confirmed officers were called shortly before 5.30pm on Friday due to concerns for the welfare of a woman.
“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service but the woman, who was in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene,” they said.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.”
Flowers have since been attached to a railing outside a home in Creine Mill Lane North, with messages and heartfelt tributes left to the woman.
