FROM cakes to cars, lush dresses and accessories, visitors at the Drumossie Wedding Fair could find a wide range of ideas from exhibitors today.
The event, hosted in the hotel’s conference and banqueting centre, saw a steady flow of participants coming through across the day to find out more from the various local businesses and attend the upbeat fashion show on the day.
In attendance were couples soon-to-be-married, others which had just started making preparations, as well as friends and families.
Anna Smith, events manager at the Drumossie Hotel, said that this was an occasion for the hotel to showcase what they had to offer.
“Trying to put a whole wedding into two small rooms is very difficult but we wanted present what we can include in terms of decor and other aspects, to showcase what we are all about.
“We are there to help as much as we can, to give ideas, and show what we offer in our packages.
“Weddings are in full force now which is great to see, and at the moment we are pretty full on and host around three weddings each week. It’s great to see everyone being happy and meeting with family they haven’t seen for a long time.
“The selection of exhibitors we have here is amazing, we basically have from planning all the way up until the actual wedding day, as well as a great variety of photographers.
“It’s great to finally see everyone getting together and enjoy the day.”
Among the businesses who attended were Alison White Photography, Creatures Of Habit Cakery, Black Isle Love Lights, Highland Ceremonies, Dream Events by Sarah and many more from across the Highlands and Moray.
The fashion show was organised by VSO Models and KBE Events with the support of Anne Hair Salon and dresses from McCalls, Rouge Boutique and Avorio Bridal.
