Billy Joel Cuts the Price of His Florida Home by $15 Million
Billy Joel has once again slashed the price on his Manalapan, Florida, estate, which is now asking $49.9 million after a $15 million price cut. The Mediterranean-style beachfront home spans a sprawling 13,350 square feet, with nine bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. Additionally, there’s a two-bedroom guest house and a two-bedroom staff house. Amenities include a deep-water concrete dock, covered and open balconies and pristine pool overlooking the ocean. March Homes Sales Were Down in Toronto While Prices Rose
Greater Toronto home sales took a dip in March, falling 4.5% year over year, according to the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board. However, there was enough buyer competition to raise prices—the average selling price was up 1.3% from last year to C$1.12 million (US$828,133). Additionally, new listings rose by 15% annually, which could be a result of homeowners hoping for market conditions to improve in the spring. Hong Kong Property Sales Hit 10-Month High
Hong Kong’s property market saw some improvement in March as sales rose to a 10-month high. After the government scrapped property cooling measures, 5,013 deals were made last month for new and second-hand homes, parking spots, shops, offices and industrial units, up from 3,189 transactions in February. This is the most activity in a single month since May 2023, when 5,284 property sales were recorded. Still, sales remain down annually by about 42%. South China Morning Post
