Follow these tips to keep your account more secure and safe
At Google, we believe that protecting your private information is one of the most important things we can do. That's why we make all our products secure by default, and give you the tools you need to stay safe. This Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we want to remind you of a few simple tips you can take to strengthen your account security and have a safer online experience
Sign in faster and more securely with passkeys
Passkeys are a new way to sign in to apps and websites. Easier to use and more secure than other methods, passkeys let you sign in the same way you unlock your devices: with a fingerprint, a face scan, or a screen lock PIN.

Automatically update your passwords across your devices
Turn on sync in Chrome to automatically and securely update changes you make to your passwords. To do this, simply tap on the three dots in Chrome, select “settings”, and then turn on “Sync”.

Add an extra layer of protection to your Gmail messages
Use Gmail's confidential mode to make your sensitive messages expire after a set period of time and remove certain options for recipients to forward, copy, download, or print your message. To do so, click “Compose” and in the bottom right of the window, click “Turn on confidential mode”.
