This week is very important for Sony since it marks the arrival of God of War Ragnarok, a highly anticipated new opus from a cult saga which has marked the history of the Tenth Art. The other PlayStation studios have published a crisp painting to celebrate the release.
You will certainly not have missed it, but only on the day before yesterday, God of War was released on the market after four years of waiting for a excited community. This is definitely going to be an event, especially given the new Santa Monica iteration! The game is a bit off the clock, with 94.4% more than that of the broader Elden Ring.
Since the adventure of Kratos and Atreus makes noise, and that also became to end years of intense development, the other PlayStation studios wanted to commemorate the occasion, in their own way.
PlayStation Studios has some frankly prestigious firms, present for decades, and with some renowned franchises. Exactly some of them released artwork featuring Kratos and Atreus feasting or walking around with other iconic Sony characters.
For example, eating Ratchet & Clank (from Insomniac Games), with Joel and Ellie (from Last of Us, by Naughty Dog) or Jin Sakai (from Ghost of Tsushima, Sucker Punch). We can see, in an image that literally has a mouthful, a Greek god and his son rider alongside Deacon St John, from the Bend Studio.
Few winks remind us that some well-known heads of the PlayStation universe have already dated in a very specific game, a PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, a brawler, released in 2012, but wasn’t yet met with a hoped-for success. Maybe one day with a second episode?
