A live recording of Irish band Westlife’s first ever performance at the Wembley Stadium in London will be screened at selected Golden Village (GV) cinemas from Sep 2 to 4.
Deemed as their “biggest and most historic show” yet, the band performed at Wembley earlier this year in August as part of its Wild Dream Tour. The performance featured some of the quartet’s most renowned songs, including Uptown Girl, You Raise Me Up and Flying Without Wings.
Since its inception in 1998, Westlife has released six platinum-selling records in the United Kingdom, with 40 million album sales and 55 million record sales worldwide.
Westlife will also be performing live in Singapore at the 2022 Grand Prix, which will be held from Sep 30 to Oct 2. They last performed in Singapore at a sold-out show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium over a decade ago in 2010.
The Wild Dream Tour recording will be screened at three different GV cinemas – VivoCity, Funan Gemini and Paya Lebar Duo Deluxe.
Tickets for the VivoCity show will cost $20 for the public and $18 for GV members. Tickets for the Paya Lebar and Funan shows however only offer premium seats, which cost $24 for the public and $22 for GV members.
Purchase of tickets and specific screening time slots can be found on GV’s website.
