- A federal appeals court ruled that Donald Trump does not have immunity from charges he plotted to overturn his 2020 election defeat, bringing the former US president closer to an unprecedented criminal trial. - Russia launched missile strikes on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities this morning, killing three people, injuring at least a dozen more and setting blazes across the capital. - Swedish prosecutors said they would drop their probe into explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines and hand evidence over to Germany.
