The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s invite to King Charles III’s Coronation ceremony in May could be in doubt in light of the latest claims made by Harry in his bombshell memoir. In a comment piece for Sky News Australia, royal biographer Angela Levin has warned the Duke that he shouldn’t “hold breath” for an invite after his recent comments that he wants to reconcile with his family but only if the royals accept “accountability”.
In her article, Ms Levin, who has met and interviewed Prince Harry, also claims that Harry’s betrayal has “backfired”. The royal expert added: “There are probably fewer people than he wanted feeling sorry for him”.
The Coronation is set to take place in London on May 6, 2023, the same day that the couple’s young son Archie will be celebrating his fourth birthday. The coronation will be held at Westminster Abbey, which is the same place where Queen Elizabeth II held her coronation in 1953.

The Duke of Sussex was interviewed by host Stephen Colbert about the reactions to the “sensational leaks” shortly after the book’s release.
Despite the television audience being heard cheering “Harry! Harry! Harry!” when the royal took his seat for the interview, the atmosphere was rather different behind the scenes.
It has been reported that due to security fears, there was a sudden change to the filming, which saw audience members miss getting a glimpse of Harry.
The recording of the show usually takes two hours and includes a segment by a warm-up act.
However, Mr Colbert abruptly finished the show one hour before advertised, which disappointed fans.

After staying silent for four years, luxury suit and dressmaker Ajay Mirpuri said that while he did not witness the argument itself, he offered a startling glimpse into what caused the now notorious row between Kate and Meghan that all started when Princess Charlotte, who was a bridesmaid, burst into tears.
He told the Daily Mail that he and three staff had to work round the clock at Kensington Palace and Windsor Castle for four days before Prince Harry and Meghan’s 2018 wedding after it was discovered that none of the six bridesmaids’ dresses fitted.
Prince Harry held hands with the host on CBS as he spoke about his life and the release of his Megxit memoir “Spare.”
To mark the release of his highly-anticipated autobiography, the Duke of Sussex, 38, also sat down with ITV’s Tom Bradby, 60 Minutes’ Anderson Cooper and Good Morning America’s Michael Stahan.
The Duke of Sussex was in conversation with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show.
In one of the clips, Prince Harry asked if there are any “veterans” in the house, as he began to talk about his life in Afghanistan.
He goes on to claim the press has pushed “lies” that have been spread through some of the book’s leaks.

Prince Harry sat down with Michael Strahan for an ABC News interview promoting his new book ‘Spare’.
During the interview, the Prince discussed his views on how the Royal Family address racism issues.
In the bombshell, Oprah interview, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex accused the royals of being racist amid “concerning” questions about Archie’s skin colour.
This accusation was backtracked during an interview on ITV with Tom Bradby, where he said that the tabloid press twisted their words and that members of the Firm have unconscious bias.

In ‘Spare’, Harry writes of his experience of receiving the sad news of the passing of his great-grandmother, the Queen Mother, in 2002.
The account has been torn apart by royal commentators for being factually incorrect, leading to questions over the fact-checking of the book.
Prince Harry claimed: “At Eton, while studying, I took a call. I wish I could remember whose voice was at the other end; a courtier’s, I believe.
“I recall that it was just before Easter, the weather was bright and warm, light slanting through my window, filled with vivid colours.
“Your Royal Highness, the Queen Mother has died.”
However, reports from the time have thrown this account into question as the seventeen-year-old prince was not in the UK when the Queen Mother died.

Prince Harry should be stripped of his Duke of Sussex title for “trashing” the Royal Family, senior Conservative MPs have argued.
Isle of Wight MP Bob Seely is set to unveil legislation that could see Prince Harry‘s dukedom downgraded in the same way that German royals had their titles stripped in the First World War.
Under the legislation members of the Privy Council could take away Harry and Meghan’s Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles.
Speaking to The Sun, Mr Seely said that there was an obvious hypocrisy with the Sussexes happy to use their royal titles while criticising the institution.

Prince Harry said in a recent interview Queen Camilla was “dangerous” because “of the need for her to rehabilitate her image”.
The Duke of Sussex holds “the Royal Family over a barrel”, royal author Katie Nicholl said while discussing Prince Harry‘s memoir Spare and his latest interviews. Asked by GB News host Eamonn Holmes whether she thinks King Charles will invite the Sussexes at his Coronation on May 6 in the wake of a barrage of claims and criticism against the Firm, Ms Nicholl said: “I think in many ways, and in all of this [book], Harry does have the Royal Family over a barrel, because they are not going to address any twist and turn in his narrative.” Nevertheless, the author believes Harry and Meghan will be invited to the sacred event by the monarch, who she believes wants to reconcile with his son. She said: “I think he will take a leaf out of the Queen’s book and there will be an invitation, that olive branch will be extended because it is still his son and I am told, despite all of this, he loves his son.” This invite would be sent despite, Ms Nicholl said, King Charles will have likely found reading newspaper headlines focused on Harry’s comments on Camilla “deeply hurtful”. In his interview with CBS’ 60 Minutes, released ahead of the publication of Spare today, Harry claimed Camilla had a willingness to forge a relationship with the press in the early 2000s to rehabilitate her image and be accepted by the British public. He added this made her “dangerous” and claimed “there was open willingness on both sides to trade information”.
The Duke of Sussex have been accused of trying to “bring down” the Royal Family with his new bombshell memoir ‘Spare’.
A bookshop in Swindon in northeast Wiltshire has placed Prince Harry‘s tell-all bombshell memoir ‘Spare’ next to Bella Mackie’s ‘How to Kill your Family’ as the shop mocks the Duke of Sussex’s attacks on his family.

Meghan Markle was believed to be at home while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s neighbourhood of Montecito was ravaged by severe storms forcing some Hollywood stars to flee their homes.
Thousands of local residents, including Hollywood stars such as Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey, were told to flee the deadly conditions after authorities ordered a full evacuation following flash floods and mudslides.
Prince Harry was reportedly filming a late-night talk show interview in New York at the time of the evacuation.
Montecito locals were told to completely evacuate on Monday night as the freak weather continued to wreak havoc on residents, two of whom are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Nile Gardiner, a Washington-based foreign policy expert and Royal Family enthusiast, warned the couple the British public have now turned against them.
He told Express.co.uk: “This is a bridge too far for Meghan and Harry with the Royal Family. There’s no turning back now from their latest vicious attacks.
“They have spectacularly burnt whatever bridges remain with Buckingham Palace but significantly, they have completely destroyed any remaining goodwill there may have been among the British people.
“The British public overwhelmingly have a negative view of Meghan and Harry. The American public are also turning significantly against them.”

Prince William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, are “highly unlikely” to have watched the sit-down interviews made by Prince Harry in recent days, a commentator said.
The Duke of Sussex spoke with ITV’s Tom Bradby, CBS’ Anderson Cooper and ABC’s Michael Strahan to promote his now-released book Spare.
These chats included mentions of other members of the Firm – including the claim Queen Camilla was “dangerous” in the early 2000s for what Harry said was a desire to rehabilitate her image.
Asked by Talk TV’s First Edition host Tom Newton Dunn whether he expects senior royals to get in touch with Prince Harry following his interviews, royal editor Matt Wilkinson said he doesn’t think it likely King Charles, Queen Camilla or the Waleses turned on the TV to listen to what the fifth-in-line had to say.
Mr Wilkinson said: “You never know, but I do find it highly unlikely… I happen to find unlikely they have actually watched this, I find highly unlikely they are going to read the book as well, they may be briefed by their staff or briefed about what has happened in the book and the interviews but I find it highly unlikely there are being text messages and WhatsApp memes being shared between Norfolk [where he said Kate and William spent the weekend] and California.”
American star Judge Judy seemingly criticised Prince Harry in a furious rant aired during today’s Good Morning Britain.
Asked by GBM’s North America correspondent Noel Phillips for her views on the Duke of Sussex’s latest interview, Judge Judy said she would not speak directly about Meghan or Harry.
However, she did speak about how she’d feel if her grandchild was publicly speaking about her private life.
The TV star said: “I will tell you that I would be furious, and I would think that child or that grandchild was a selfish, spoiled, ungrateful one.
“That’s what I would feel. I’d be really hurt, I think anybody with a brain would see that it’s disingenuous, it’s biting the hand that fed you, it’s unseemly.”

The author alleged that in the years following the now King and Queen Consort’s wedding, Camilla confided her surprise to her family and close friends at the “unexpected” side of her stepson.
Mr Lacey quoted the now-Queen Consort saying of William: “‘The boy’s got a temper!’”
The author alleged: “Camilla had been horrified by the ranting and raving that William could unleash on occasions against her husband — letting rip with no apparent inhibition in her presence.
“The rows had been earth-shattering, by her account, with William doing the shouting and Charles submitting meekly.”
“In William’s kingdom, everything had to be perfect,” the author continued, “and if his father has failed in some way to live up to his elder son’s elevated view of what being royal entails, the young man would release his fury.”
