The royal will join attendees including actress Issa Rae at a conference for BetterUp.
Prince Harry is set to make his first big public appearance since the release of his memoir, Spare, in which he exposes the ins and outs of his royal family.
His outing will be to attend BetterUp‘s Uplift summit in San Francisco, taking place this March. There, he’ll join actress Issa Rae, restaurateur and TV personality David Chang, runner Robin Arzón, author Adam Grant, and others to discuss "purpose, performance, and human transformation," BetterUp said in a statement.
The two-day event will see the star attendees partaking in discussions about leadership and business success.
The goal is for executives to "hear firsthand from renowned leaders, luminaries and researchers about how human transformation is key to building a thriving business today, and tomorrow. Human transformation is at the heart of driving positive mental health in the workplace, fostering impactful leaders, maintaining high-performing teams and transforming the organization at large," per the organization.
The Duke of Sussex has been involved with BetterUp, a billion-dollar coaching and mental health company, since 2021. After stepping back as a senior member of the royal family, he accepted a role as chief impact officer at the firm. A spokesperson for the company confirmed the news to BAZAAR.com at the time, adding that they were excited to have Harry officially join the team.
"My goal is to lift up critical dialogues around mental health, build supportive and compassionate communities, and foster an environment for honest and vulnerable conversations. And my hope is to help people develop their inner strength, resilience, and confidence," Harry later wrote in a blog post, explaining why he joined the business. "I firmly believe that focusing on and prioritising our mental fitness unlocks potential and opportunity that we never knew we had inside of us. As the Royal Marine Commandos say, ‘It’s a state of mind.’ We all have it in us."
BetterUp has a network of more than 2,000 coaches across the United States working with companies and organizations such as Hilton Worldwide, Chevron, NASA, and Salesforce Ventures.
