The TikTok Creativity Program, the platform's latest creator fund, was announced in February 2023 as an invite-only program on the TikTok Newsroom. However, it has now been opened to a wider audience, allowing creators who meet its requirements to apply for the program.
To be eligible for the program, creators need at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 "authentic views" on their videos in the last 30 days. In addition, creators need to be at least 18 years old, make videos longer than a minute, and have an account in what TikTok believes to be "good standing".
The Creativity Program Beta differs from the existing TikTok Creator Fund launched in March 2021. The difference is that the Creativity Program Beta requires fewer followers (10,000 compared to 100,000), is only available to creators in the US, and creators have to make videos longer than a minute to be eligible.
If you meet the requirements for TikTok's Creativity Program, you can apply for the program via the TikTok app by following these steps:
TikTok automatically verifies your eligibility. If you are, the Apply button on the Creativity Program page will be clickable. Tap on it to apply.
TikTok's $1 billion Creativity Program is a great opportunity for content creators to earn money for their work. It allows eligible creators to make money from their content. The program is currently open to users from the US, but seeing the fund is still in its beta phase, it could be expanded to other countries in the future.
If you're a US-based content creator, it's worth checking out TikTok's Creativity Program and applying to see if you're eligible.
