According to the Chinese Media, the AITO M5 medium-size SUV jointly built by Huawei and SERES will be delivered in March 2022. The company is fulfilling the promise to the consumer and will ship large quantities of AITO M5.
On December 23, Huawei revealed the first car in the AITO series (Adding Intelligence to Auto) equipped with the HarmonyOS ecosystem, industrial design, engineering technology, and more.
For your information, in just 4 days of launching, the pre-booking of this smart car surpassed 6500 units which clearly shows its popularity among the consumers. Furthermore, it is also impressive that AITO M5 landed in the market and took only 3 months from release to delivery.
More information reveals that SERES has accelerated the mass production of AITO M5 medium-sized SUVs. Also, over 1000 customers have taken the test drive of this car at the Huawei Stores. The M5 is available for a test drive at 400+ Huawei Stores and 100+ SERES centers covering 90 cities.

Huawei’s new smart selection car – AITO M5 is a hybrid car that runs on both electricity, gasoline and is jointly built by Huawei and SERES. The high-end smart luxury SUV features SERES capabilities in extended-range technology and cutting-edge technology from Huawei to bring a new experience to users.
This SUV also brings support for Petal Maps, a new onboard map service, which brings the HarmonyOS Smart Cockpit smart navigation experience to car owners, enabling easy connection of navigation functions between mobile phones and vehicles.
Also, it uses advanced precision oil cooling technology, the average peak temperature of the winding is reduced by 30 Celcius, and the peak temperature of the magnetic steel is reduced by 15℃.

According to the information, the Huawei XLight solution enables important features and provides safety. This solution can automatically adjust diversified light patterns according to real road conditions, preset algorithm pixel-level brightness adjustment, and adapt to road mode switching.
Huawei XLight supports low-beam enhanced features for small roads in urban areas and remote villages to ensure brighter and detect obstacles more effectively. 
It has an adaptive high beam system ADB (Adaptive Driving Beam), and through the self-developed precise perception algorithm, it can provide accurate shading of people and vehicles. This also ensures that the high beam does not interfere with other traffic participants.

The latest comment from Yu comes in during an internal meeting. This is the third year, that Huawei established the Smart Car Business Unit and the second year since Yu took over as CEO. For your information, Yu also serves as the CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group.
Currently, Huawei’s car business has 15 secondary departments, including the smart driving product department, the MDC product department, the smart car control product department, smart car cloud product department, smart driving product department, smart cockpit product department, smart car solution department, and more.
