In the past few months, Huawei has ramped up efforts and expanded the reach of the EMUI 12 software updates in the global market. This update comes with new features that enhance your user experience and makes your way towards the latest functionalities.
However, there are some Huawei phones that remained untouched by EMUI 12 and should receive this EMUI upgrade. These consumers have asked us why they aren’t receiving the new EMUI 12 software. However, Huawei has currently not confirmed additional devices outside of the EMUI 12 roadmap to get EMUI 12 software updates.
It’s also uncertain whether the Chinese tech maker will add new devices in the EMUI 12 eligible model campaign. Still, we cannot confirm or deny any possibility of this happening.

Huawei Nova 5T has started receiving the last update of 2022, which improves the phone’s EMUI security aspects latest security patches released in December 2022. As of now, Huawei distributed December 2022 EMUI update to various smartphones including Mate 40 Pro, P40 Pro, Mate 50 Pro, P40 Lite, Nova 7i and other devices.
According to the changelog, the latest firmware update comes with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.170. The update package size is 217 megabytes. However the software update is rolling out in batches and it should be downloaded immediately, as it appears.
This last EMUI update of 2022 for Huawei Nova 5T comes amid the wait of EMUI 13. Yes, even after three months of listing, Huawei has not published any updates on this upcoming EMUI version.
Huawei Nova 5T users can download this update via Settings > System & updates, followed by Software updates and then CHECK FOR UPDATES. You will have to wait for a few minutes until the phone connects to the server and fetch the update.
If available, Huawei Nova 5T users can press “DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL” to start downloading the OTA package. Don’t forget that this would take some time to complete the EMUI package.

Huawei Nova 5T was launched with EMUI 9.1 and upgrade over EMUI 10, EMUI 10.1, EMUI 11 and currently runs EMUI 12.
The phone comes sports a 6.26 inch of LCD screen with all view FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and 97% screen to body ratio. The phone has 6GB of RAM + 128GB of internal storage. It is powered by Kirin 980 octa-core chipset, Mali-G76 GPU, and has side fingerprint scanner.
The phone has quad camera system, which takes high quality photographs thanks to its 48 megapixels of primary camera with f/1.8 aperture. The camera system also includes a 16 MP f/2.4 aperture ultra wide angle camera along with 2MP macro camera and 2 MP bokeh camera.
The phone also brings a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture for front photos.

Huawei is rolling out December 2022 EMUI software update for the P50 Pocket foldable smartphone. It is an important system upgrade for the smartphone to improve the security aspects.
Huawei is sending December 2022 EMUI update for the P50 Pocket global model with EMUI 12 version 12.0.1.228. The users will have to download the 258MB package size.
Huawei P50 Pocket comes with a flip-style foldable design, it looks like a smartphone but it could fold inward. While allowing you to access key features via a small round cover display. The cover display also viewport for a selfie camera and a number of other simple access.
The phone was launched with HarmonyOS 2 operating system in China and is upgradeable to HarmonyOS 3. In the global market, it comes with EMUI 12 pre-installed and will install EMUI 13.
However, Huawei has not announced EMUI 13 for the global market and there’s a lot that is needed to know. But the Chinese tech maker has already revealed its latest features, which include a number of new optimizations.

Huawei has begun to send a December 2022 update for the Nova 9 SE smartphone with the EMUI package. The phone runs EMUI 12 and gets the latest security solutions for a better user experience.
The firmware version for this update is 12.0.1.178 and you can grab the Huawei Nova 9 SE December 2022 software update via the OTA procedure of Setting > System & updates and then Software updates followed by CHECK FOR UPDATES.
It is the subsequent software rollout that most of the Huawei phones are receiving as Huawei Nova 9 has also received such an update for an improved security system.
