AppBrain market research organization has recently released the November 2022 global Android market details. As per the report, Huawei is standing as the fifth Android smartphone maker in the world.
Huawei and its U.S. conflict stories are well-known in the market. The tough restrictions have made the company suffer a lot in industrial and economical growth. To some extent, the problems are still emerging on the board.
Even so, the company continued to place new achievements on its shelves and remains one of the largest Android smartphone makers. The latest report states that Huawei has successfully secured the fifth rank in the Android smartphone maker list of the world.
According to the information, Huawei has attained a market share of 6.7 percent. While the company has managed to obtain a good place, Samsung is the lead player and won the first position with 34.6% of the market share.
On the other hand, Xiaomi stands on the second platform with a 14.3% market share. Thereafter, OPPO and Vivo follow the list with a market share of 10.3% and 9.8% respectively.
In addition to the rankings, the report also highlights the Samsung Galaxy A12 as the most demandable smartphone among global users.
Huawei – the world’s second Android smartphone maker
Yes, you read that right. Huawei has achieved the world’s second Android manufacturer award in 2019. Unfortunately, the same year has given rise to the U.S. blockage for the company which turned all the effort into vain.
Thereafter, tech makers like Samsung and Xiaomi have started surpassing Huawei with Google Mobile Services and other facilities. As a result, the company shares gradually started declining in the phone merchandise.
Anyhow, Huawei is getting back on track with its impressive and innovative technologies. On the sideways, the company is also working on its operating systems and claims to bring some enormous changes in the time ahead.

Accordingly, the tech maker is making some seamless efforts in South Africa. Up to this point, Huawei has launched many programs and solutions that can help Nigeria in the digital, network as well as communication aspects.
In Nigeria, Huawei has uprooted around 27500 communication sites and up to 10,000 km of fiber in the region. Ultimately, this initiative has helped more than 60% population to connect with high-end network facilities.
On the flip side, the respective network systems also help in reducing communication costs. Thus, both network operators and users can enjoy productive and convenient services at minimal rates.

LEAP Program for ICT development
Alongside tech sources, Huawei is also providing knowledge to the Nigerian youth. Recently, the manufacturer has launched an effective digital skills development program (LEAP) and provided 3000+ ICT courses.
LEAP stands for Leadership, Employability, Advancement, and Possibility. Eventually, this program will improve the ICT infrastructure within three years. Thus, Huawei’s digital efforts will give a new face to Nigeria in the time ahead.
Huawei South Africa President – Leo Chen put forth his points on how digitization and ICT development can add more numbers to the growth rate of Nigeria.
“Digitization is deeply rooted in people. Because we digitize for people and by people. When roots are deep, there is no need to fear the wind. Through the LEAP program, we strive to cultivate more youth leaders in ICT who can explore more possibilities for themselves, their families, community, and ultimately their nations.”
Consequently, Huawei will take more actions that can help users in Nigeria to connect better with digitalization. Let’s see what new solutions will the company initiate to enhance digital scenarios in South Africa.

Huawei Mate X2 folding phone and the ultimate Mate 40 series are back in the sale stage. Despite the lack of Huawei Kirin 9000 chipsets, the devices are available for buying purposes but with some hidden twists.
To begin with, earlier we reported that the Mate X2 foldable is no longer available on the official Huawei website (Vmall). The reason behind the device’s unavailability could be the shortage of Kirin 9000 processors.
However, the latest input reveals that users can still purchase the Mate X2 phones. Though Huawei has removed folding smartphones from its official stores, they are still available at third-party offline stores.
In addition to the Mate X2 devices, the Huawei Mate 40 series is also aligned on the sale platform. The only difference is that the foldable gadget is now selling via offline stores. While the Mate 40 series is accessible at online shopping channels.
Are Kirin 9000 chipsets in stock?
The available stock of Mate X2 and Mate 40 has given rise to a significant question – Are Kirin 9000 chipsets in stock? Previously, the company stated that the respective chips are no longer available for an unlimited period.
But as per the latest hints, there is still a limited supply of Kirin 9000 processors. Although it is quite difficult to say how much stock is left.
On the sideways, the input also suggests that the tech maker has not stopped the Mate X2 or Mate 40 smartphone production. Perhaps, we could find these devices back on the official websites.
When Kirin processors will return?
It’s worth mentioning that both Mate X2 and Mate 40 models equip the dynamic Kirin 9000 chips on their surface. The tech processor uproots over a 5nm process and features an octa-core framework.
In the meantime, we heard several tweaks regarding the return of the Kirin chipsets. Yet Huawei didn’t emit any word on this concept. Recently, Kirin chipset entered a new video-sharing platform. Thus, we could assume a comeback of the Kirin chips in the time ahead.

Huawei is once again at the top of the Chinese market with its 4G folding smartphones. The company achieved a 53.2 percent market share and become the No.1 foldable maker in China.
Recently, the CINNO Research cooperation released the “Q3 2022 foldable market share in China” report. Accordingly, the report shows how the tech makers and their folding devices have performed in the region.
Eventually, the foldable device sales in China reached 723,000 units in the third quarter of this year. This is a valuable growth of approx 114% on the yearly basis. Further, the report displays Huawei’s success which is more interesting on the surface.
Despite a variety of folding phones with 5G facilities, Huawei scored the first position in the Chinese folding phone market with its 4G models. This achievement made Huawei the ultimate king of foldable phones in China.
Huawei – champion of the folding phone market
The latest input reveals that Huawei gained a market share of 53.2% for its foldable gadgets which is an increase of 95% year-on-year basis. Alongside Huawei, Samsung grabbed the second position with 20.5%
Notably, the Huawei P50 Pocket is the leading device in the Chinese foldable market. It remained at the top in the market with extreme sales results for three succeeding quarters (From Q1 to Q3, this year).
In addition to the flip-flop model, the Mate Xs 2 has also shown good performance in the sales aspects. To be specific, Huawei has proven that the company will continue to excel in the smartphone market, with or without 5G.
Huawei Pocket S – a new contender
While old Huawei 4G foldable devices are already giving tough competition to the tech makers, the company has introduced one more smart gadget – Pocket S. The phone is a cheaper version of the P50 Pocket without any compromise in the features.
Undoubtedly, the new foldable will significantly increase the demand for folding phones in the market. With its fascinating appearance and eye-catching features, it will soon rule over the Chinese phone market.
Speaking of 5G implementation, the Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO and Smart Car BG head – Yu Chengdong said the following statement:
“Huawei as a global leader in 5G, is the only manufacturer selling 4G mobile phones in the 5G era.”
Though the CEO said the statement sarcastically, somewhere it’s a bitter truth. But it seems like the 5G unavailability doesn’t affect much of the company’s success. However, users are still waiting to hold the Huawei 5G smartphone back in their hands.
