Huawei debuted the Huawei Nova 10 SE in the global market shortly after announcing the Huawei Nova 10 series of smartphones at the IFA 2022 in Berlin. Today, the company released the below-shown poster to confirm that the Nova 10 SE will debut in China at 7 pm (local time) on Dec. 2.
Huawei is also expected to announce other products in December. Some of the rumored upcoming devices include Huawei Watch Buds (a 2-in-1 smartwatch with built-in TWS earbuds), FreeBuds 5i, and Children’s Watch 5X. It’s not clear if these devices will also be announced on Dec. 2 along with the Nova 10 SE. Here is a look at the expected specifications of the smartphone.
The Huawei Nova 10 SE has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution on the front. A 16-megapixel camera is available on the device for selfies and video calls.
Despite having a 108-megapixel main camera and an f/1.9 lens, the Nova 10 SE can only shoot video in 1080p. A 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera sit next to it. The global model of the Nova 10 SE runs on EMU 12-based Android 12 OS. Its Chinese edition will come equipped with HarmonyOS. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
The Snapdragon 680, an LTE-only chip, is present under the hood of the Nova 10 SE. It is available in RAM + storage variants such as 6/128 GB, 8/128 GB, and 8/256 GB RAM in markets outside of China.
The device’s 4,500mAh battery supports 66W charging via USB-C. It weighs 184 grams and measures just 7.39mm in thickness. It is available in shades like Starry Silver, Mint Green, and Starry Black in the global market.
