Wow! this week seems to be joyful for Huawei P30 series devices owner in Europe as they are started getting the stable EMUI 12 updates. It’s the third day of the week and the third device from the P30 lineup has started receiving the EMUI 12 firmware.
In the latest edition, Huawei P30 standard variant is installing the latest EMUI 12 update with build number 12.0.0.132 (C431E3R2P2). As expected, this update holds a massive download size of 4.52 Gigabytes.
Last week, Huawei has initially released the stable EMUI 12 for P30 series models. Since then, the update is gradually expanding to the different markets in order to cover all P30 phones. The rollout comes into effect through the OTA medium, so don’t ignore them.
According to the changelog, Huawei EMUI 12 brings a new user interface that provides a feel like HarmonyOS, font adjustment tools for better visibility, a separate control panel with a Device+ feature, quick access switches, and more, advanced security tools, and much more exciting.

Here’s how to update:
To download the update, you need to open the settings menu and select system & updates followed by software updates. From here, tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES and let the phone get the latest update for you.
Once you received the update prompt, tap on the download and install button. Afterward, reboot the device. On the other hand, you can also perform the same task via the My Hauwei app.
EMUI 12 changelog:

Supports more flexible font customization where you can adjust font size and width with a slider.
[Neuromorphic Theme]
Applies the concept of neuromorphism to UI elements. It uses simple colors, tones, shadows, and highlights to achieve a more realistic effect.

[Notification Panel and Control Panel]

Adds an audio control panel to the panel to make it easier to switch between different audio devices and apps. Allows you to quickly enable cross-screen collaboration by tapping icons for Huawei laptops and tablets in the “Device+” section of the control panel.

Huawei is upgrading its P40 Lite smartphone in the global market comes with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.257 and update package size of 250 megabytes.
Huawei P40 Lite is getting the EMUI 12.0.0.257 build version with November 2022 security patch. Therefore, it improves the phone’s capability to fight against potential software threats.
As the version reflects, the phone currently runs EMUI 12 software and it was upgraded from EMUI 10.0. Hence, we suggest anyone grab the latest firmware as it appears in the update section.

Huawei Mate Xs 2 smartphone users have started collecting the November 2022 security update. The latest update is making its way into the global market and will gradually roll out in other regions.
