The next part of our destination is the launch of the Huawei P60 series and a well-known tipster has suggested the flagship is coming in Q2 2023 with a new Snapdragon chipset.
Weibo tipster – Classmateguan said that the Huawei P60 series is confirmed to launch by the end of the first quarter of 2023.
The tipster revealed that the Huawei P60 series will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset but it will still have 4G access. On the other hand, there will also be a standard version with a flat panel screen.
On the other hand, the flagship is likely to be the first flagship to run a pre-installed HarmonyOS 3.1 operating system. Currently, Huawei is testing this software under developer beta and in January it’ll enter public beta.
Around March and April, Huawei will release stable HarmonyOS 3.1, which could match the P60 series unveiling.
The P-series will revive Huawei’s legacy with the Huawei P60 series and the smartphone will bring new photography capabilities and XMAGE imaging technologies exclusive to this smartphone.
Furthermore, the tipster suggested that there the P60 series will debut in the first quarter of 2022. In addition, there will be a new smartwatch to be unveiled.
Yeah, there’s a lot of input on the P60 series launch and it’ll surely excite consumers waiting for the next Huawei smartphone in the premium segment.
8 Gen 2:
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile chipset comes with Spectra Cognitive ISP, Triple 18-bit ISPs, up to 3.2 GHz, FastConnect 7800, Quick Charge 5 Technology, and 4nm.
Gen 1:
Huawei Mate 50 series was the first smartphone to feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 4G chip. On the flip side, the Huawei P50 series was the first in the industry to come with Snapdragon 888 4G.
Huawei P60 series:
In the meantime, there are some alleged renders that appeared online showing the phone with a square camera design and center pill shape hole punch.
However, Huawei has not made any official announcement on the P60 series so far but we’ll keep you posted.

Earlier this month, Huawei launched the Pocket S foldable smartphone. Now we’re getting inputs that Huawei Mate X3 is about to launch, as its sample version is out for retailers.
A Weibo tipster, Wangzai Knows reveals that the mass-produced sample version of the Huawei Mate X3 foldable phone started to rollout for retailers and smartphone sellers. It’s a good sign of progress and shows that we’ll soon witness the launch of the Huawei Mate X3.
That’s not it, the tipster also suggests that the Huawei Mate X3 will be a design-efficient smartphone. This means it will be thinner and more durable with a new foldable hinge system. To support consumers, Huawei Mate X3 will have a low price as compared to Mate X2.
Since it’s a flagship phone and Huawei is keen on using Qualcomm chipsets, the Mate X3 could use Snapdragon 8+. Still, it will only support 4G network access with an inward folding design.

Once folded, the phone operates via the exterior screen of 6.45 inches, 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, and 2700 x 1160 pixels resolution.
During the Mate X2 launch, Huawei stocked sufficient Kirin 9000 chipsets. However, the phone is currently ruled out of the online stores and solely going through offline Huawei experience stores.
It is a powerful phone with a quad rear camera system. Including a 50 MP Ultra Vision Camera (Wide Angle, f/1.9 aperture, OIS), 16 MP Cine Camera (Ultra-Wide Angle, f/2.2 aperture), 12 MP Telephoto Camera (3x Optical Zoom, f/2.4 aperture, OIS), and 8 MP SuperZoom Camera (10x Optical Zoom, f/4.4 aperture, OIS), support AF.
Huawei Mate X2 brings a high-resolution front-facing camera of 16 megapixels of f/2.2 aperture. On the other hand, this foldable device packs a 4500mAh battery that could recharge with a 66W super charger.
