Huawei recently posted a new phone to its official website named the nova Y90, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chip.
A prominent Chinese blogger with account name “That Wutong Rain” revealed that this device is the upcoming Enjoy 50 Pro in China, which features a 6.7-inch LCD screen with 1080 × 2388 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 270Hz touch sampling rate.
The phone measures 163.3 mm in length, 74.7 mm in width, 8.4 mm in height, and weighs 195 g. In addition, it features a 50 MP f/1.8 main camera on the rear and two 2 MP macro and depth of field lenses. A f/2.0 8MP perforated front camera is used in front.
Elsewhere, Huawei’s nova Y90 comes with a 5000mAh battery that supports 40W super-fast charging. The firm promises it will charge up to 50% in 30 minutes. The new version is preloaded with EMUI 12, but Huawei has not specified which Android version it is based on.
For now, the nova Y90 is only available in one version with 8+128GB storage, across four color options – Crystal Blue, Pearl White, Emerald Green and Midnight Black. Huawei has not yet announced information such as the device’s pricing or launch date.

Huawei Enjoy 50 Pro has been officially registered with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It has a battery capacity of 5000mAh, supports 40W fast charging, retains a 3.5 mm headphone jack, unlocks with side fingerprint recognition, carries the HarmonyOS, and has a 6.7-inch LCD screen on the front with a resolution of 2388×1080.

Chinese tech giant Huawei announced on Friday that its foldable flagship smartphone, the “Mate Xs 2,” will be unveiled at a launch conference on April 28.
Huawei’s new product launch event for its MateBook series was held on Monday. The event saw the release of the company’s MateBook 16s, MateBook D 16, MateBook 14, MateBook D 14, MateView SE, and a new wireless mouse.
Huawei announced its new Nova 10 smartphone series at the end of last month. According to the latest news from a prominent Chinese tech industry blogger, the release will now be delayed until early July.
News leaked on July 14 that Huawei has scheduled a press conference for July 27, during which it will release many new products, including its first smart screen with HarmonyOS 3.0.
