Huawei and Saudi Telecom have developed the world’s first SuperLink network solution and installed it in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The latest product delivers extraordinary performance and stability in terms of network operations.
The SuperLink solution mainly aims to improve network services in the region. As the name reflects, it comprises a single-link bandwidth of 10Gbps and provides advanced and high-frequency rates in 5G coverage.
Further, the excellent product supports a single antenna which saves 67% of the antenna area and 70% of the equipment. Also, the SuperLink network solution is the first product of Huawei and Saudi Telecom which uses a multi-frequency antenna and 4-in-1 CA ODU carrier collection.
Multi-Frequency Antenna
To be mentioned, a multi-frequency antenna includes a variety of frequency bands. For instance 6GHz, 7GHz, 8GHz, 13GHz, 15GHz, and more. With the help of this mechanism, operators get relief from using a separate antenna every time while receiving a new frequency.
In addition, the 4-in-1 CA (Carrier Aggregation) ODU (Outdoor Unit) combines four components in one piece of equipment. Thus, it decreases the number of external units by 75%. Besides, it contains higher modulation functioning elements and large bandwidth that increases the single ODU capability by 500%.
With such elements, the Superlink solution can offer a network with efficient performance for minimal costs.
SuperLink solution will speed up 5G development
The Vice President of infrastructure at the Saudi Telecom Company (STC) – Eng. Bader A. Allhieb believes that the unique network solution will accelerate the 5G evolution in Saudi Arabia. Moreover, it will end the long-distance network coverage issues in suburban areas.
So far, Saudi Arabia has been using E-band bearers for distant places. However, the traditional solutions didn’t prove much effective for users. Hence, Saudi Telecom decided to collaborate with Huawei and deploy some meaningful products in the region.
On the flip side, Huawei said that it will continue to innovate new technologies that can contribute to the 5G evolution across the world.

Huawei Health app is getting a new update that brings a brand new app logo for smartphone devices. However, we noted that the app is still showing the old logo as an app icon but it may change in the near future.
Let’s look at and compare both of the logos:
The old one has a heart included with a heart along with a wavelength of the heartbeat. The rear color of the icon was orange. While the new Huawei Health app logo is plain an there’s it’s pure white. The heartbeat wavelength is removed and there’s a new cutout on the heart shape.
When we launched the app, we also found that the app launch screen has mixed and quite low contrast orange as compared to the initial one.
However, there are not much of changes made to the text or the slogan of the app. This is “Work out for better health”.
The latest changes are rolling out with version 13 and later. As it brings optimizations for the app’s user interface display and performance to improve the user experience. If you are interested to download this version, visit AppGallery > tap on Me, and then check for the latest app versions. Or Download the latest APK from our Health app download page.
Huawei Health app is an all in one solution for your smartphone. It brings various services to record your health data and activity. It’s also a one-stop portal to manage your smartwatch and smart bands.
The app helps you to optimize your fitness with comprehensive data on workouts, sleep quality, heart rate, body fat, and stress levels. You can make payments, listen to music, and choose a watch face design that suits your style.
Furthermore, there’s a specific section to exercise and achieve targets. With version 13, we’ve not found any significant changes in UI but we noted some performance changes while operating the app.
