Huawei Watch Buds seems an amazing 2 in 1 smart wearable, which has now leaked in a short hands-on. It’s the first time, the smartwatch has appeared in public but is yet to announce officially.
According to the short video, Huawei Watch Buds come with a design similar to Huawei Watch GT 3 series. However, the watch consists of two earbuds inside.
To access earbuds, you first need to open the smartwatch from the bottom side and lift it upwards just like a box or a suitcase. Resting inside, there are two cylindrical earbuds.
On the other hand, there are no special designs on earbuds and they are pretty tiny. As you can see in the video, there’s a placeholder for them to fit in.

Previous retail box reveals that the smartwatch will be powered by HarmonyOS operating system.

Update – December 6, 2022: Huawei has postponed the Watch Buds launch event and a new date is yet to announce (read more). Until then, you can check out the Huawei Watch Buds pics story below.
Original Story: November 30, 2022
Huawei has confirmed that its next smartwatch, Watch Buds and is ready to launch on December 2. The watch teaser is out and here are some new Huawei Watch Buds pics that we can look at before it goes official.
It’s one of the most sci-fi products that Huawei has ever released. Huawei Watch Buds is a 2-in-1 smart wearable that brings you earbuds inside the smartwatch.
These pics reveal Huawei Watch Buds as an ordinary smartwatch. However, the bezel is looking big, which may be due to the external architecture. It also has a metal frame and there’s a round crown on the right side.
After opening the watch face, you can see a pair of built-in wireless earphones. The size of the smartwatch is identical to the Watch GT series. The size of the earphones is relatively normal. However, there aren’t any aesthetics added to the earphones.
Additionally, the Huawei Watch Buds is powered by HarmonyOS operating system to provide a number of new smart features.
If you want, just open the watch face and access the earphones, it appears convenient. The battery life should be more than a usual smartwatch due to the extra power consumption to keep the earphones charged.
If you look closely, there are two placeholders to house earphones inside the watch alongside Huawei branding.
Huawei Consumer Business CEO, Yu Chengdong said Huawei Watch Buds is a revolutionary breakthrough for the company in the form and structure design of wearable products. It will allow everyone to enjoy an unprecedented convenient experience.
More to come:
Other than Huawei Watch Buds, the Chinese tech maker will also launch Nova 10 SE and Enjoy 50Z smartphones.
The Huawei Nova 10 SE is already launched in the global market equipped with a 108-megapixel high-resolution camera with f/1.9 aperture. On the other hand, the Huawei Enjoy 50Z is a renamed version of the Nova Y61.
