The Indonesian economy is expected to rebound by 4.4 percent in 2021. Growth is projected to increase to 5.0 percent in 2022, assuming a faster vaccine rollout. According to the June 2021 Indonesia Economic Prospects report, Indonesia will need to tackle three challenges to boost the recovery and improve medium-term growth prospects.
