If Christmas dinner isn't quite your thing, you may be wondering where you can go to pick up a bite to eat.
With McDonald's open on many holidays, some will be wondering if they can drop into the fast-food chain. However, it may not be worth getting your hopes up as most branches will not be opening their doors.
A number of branches will be open on Boxing Day however, but if you're planning on getting a takeaway you should check ahead as McDonald's will be operating across reduced hours in many branches.
The fast food chain's website says: "Only a handful of McDonald's restaurants open on Christmas Day, please refer to the restaurant locator to confirm if your local restaurant is open during the Christmas period and what times they are trading."
Here is everything you need to know about opening hours both today and tomorrow.
McDonald's will, for the most part, be closed on Christmas Day with very few branches across the UK keeping their doors open.
Even though some McDonald's are 24-hours, employees have been given the day off to enjoy Christmas with loved-ones.
It's worth checking the fast food firm's branch locator to see when your local McDonald's is open, but don't get your hopes up for a Christmas day Big Mac.
Most branches will re-open on boxing day, however many of the 24-hour restaurants will be operating on reduced hours.
Opening times might also be different on Tuesday 27 December, as it will be a substitute Bank Holiday for Christmas day which some employees may be entitled to.
Once again, you will be able to find your local McDonald's on the store's branch locator.
