Paula Malcomson leads the cast of ITV’s new drama Redemption, which will begin airing on the channel soon.
She plays DI Colette Cunningham, who learns about the death of her estranged daughter Kate who had disappeared without a trace when she was 17.
Information also comes to light that she had been living in Dublin for the past 20 years under the name Stacey Lockley.
A summary on Radio Times states: “Colette is named guardian of her children Cara and Liam and joins the Dublin Central police service, but something about Stacey’s final month doesn’t seem to add up and Colette sets out to uncover the truth behind her daughter’s death.”
The series is created by Sean Cook and was a co-commission between Virgin Media Television and ITV.
Redemption first aired on Virgin Media One in Ireland in April 2022, but this is the first time it will be broadcast on TV elsewhere.
The first episode of Redemption will air on ITV at 9 pm on Friday. March 17.
After that, the remaining five episodes will air at the same time in the proceeding weeks.
Redemption airs Fridays at 9 pm on ITV and ITVX
