New Zealand has issued a notice on visa and job scams targeting Sri Lankans attempting to migrate to the country.
The New Zealand High Commission in Sri Lanka said it has received several reports on fraudulent visa and job offers to New Zealand targeting Sri Lankans.
The High Commission further advised Sri Lankans who suspect fraud to consider making direct contact with the employer organization in New Zealand.
It is also advised to seek independent legal advice or raise the matter with local authorities in Sri Lanka.
The New Zealand High Commission in Sri Lanka further shared a website, highlighting the three main ways to apply for a New Zealand visa.
