Adelante Consulting President Jordan Clancy

Jordan Clancy has been promoted to president at Adelante Consulting, after serving as the company’s chief financial officer since 2021.
Clancy began his career at Macpherson Energy Corporation, holding various positions in finance, accounting and business development. Among his many projects, he was project controller and executed the $50 million (24-month) coal to biomass conversion of the 49.5 MW Mt. Poso Cogeneration facility in Kern County.
He also helped develop a pathway under the Low Carbon Fuel Standard to generate credits from enhanced oil recovery using photovoltaic-solar arrays. In his tenure there, Clancy also led the Acquisition and Divestiture deal team in several 9-figure acquisition bids.
Since 2018, Clancy has held several senior executive roles with other start-ups and closely held entities, responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting, and administration. He has led fundraising efforts for multiple project development companies in upstream, midstream, and downstream energy production, alternative fuels, and cleantech sectors collectively valued at more than $450 million today.
Clancy is a board member of the Parker Center for Family Business at the Anderson School of Business at the University of New Mexico. He also is a General Partner in the New Mexico Vintage Fund, a venture capital fund focused on New Mexico entrepreneurs, and is very active in the angel investor community. Clancy believes it is vital to support local entrepreneurs and innovators and envisions Adelante Consulting promoting energy-related and environmental-service-related projects in the Southwest.
He earned bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Marketing from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and has an MBA from the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University.
