Conor slipped into Megan’s DMs in a way that absolutely infuriated Machine Gun Kelly, resulting in an all-out fight at the VMAs.
When people look at Megan Fox’s life from afar, it can seem pretty much impossible to feel sorry for her. After all, Megan Fox has an impressive fortune, she is a huge movie star, she seems to be madly in love with her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, and she has spoken about how much she adores her kids.
However, it turns out that several aspects of Fox’s life have been very difficult including her childhood and her relationship with director Michael Bay.
On top of everything else she has been through, there is no doubt that Megan Fox has to put up with being objectified at every turn. According to reports, Mixed Martial Arts superstar, Conor McGregor may be yet another example of someone who mistreated Fox.
With that in mind, it begs an obvious question, how inappropriate was McGregor’s treatment of Fox?
Anytime there is a major celebrity awards show, producers set up a red carpet for the stars in attendance to walk down. From the outside looking in, walking the red carpet looks incredibly glamorous.
In reality, however, stars are under a lot of pressure when they hit the red carpet between the legions of photographers yelling at them and all the people at home judging them.
When Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly were preparing to attend the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards, they had to know they were going to have an intense experience. However, since they almost certainly thought they knew what they were in for, they probably felt as emotionally prepared for the night as possible.
Sadly, however, things took a turn for the worse that night.
As Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly made their way down the red carpet, Mixed Martial Arts fighter Conor McGregor was nearby. While everything seemed fine at first, things eventually went awry when McGregor became angry with Machine Gun Kelly.
As a result, McGregor threw a drink at MGK and he had to be physically stopped as he seemingly wanted to attack the musician.
After everything calmed down, Conor McGregor was asked about what went on between him and Machine Gun Kelly later that night. In response, McGregor stated that he actually never was interested in fighting MGK.
“I don’t know. He showed up, and I don’t know. I don’t know the guy. Nothing happened with me, I only fight real fighters, people that actually fight, you know what I mean? I certainly don’t fight little vanilla boy rappers. I don’t even know the guy. I don’t know anything about him, except that he’s with Megan Fox.”
When a reporter tried to ask Machine Gun Kelly about what happened later that night, the musician was a lot less vocal than Conor McGregor.
After taking in a big breath and making an unusual sound, MGK simply knocked the reporter's microphone away and left. As Megan Fox walked away with MGK, she remarked “We’re not allowed to [talk about it].”
After the extremely unusual red carpet incident that involved Conor McGregor, Megan Fox, and Machine Gun Kelly, there was a lot of interest in what happened. According to some early reports, McGregor approached Fox for a photo but he was rebuffed and his drink was knocked which set the fighter off. However, it didn’t take long for another explanation to come to the forefront.
According to Extra, the Conor McGregor and Machine Gun Kelly scuffle was inspired by something that took place before either of them showed up at the MTV VMAs. Based on what a source close to the situation told Extra, the tension arose because McGregor DMed MGK’s fiancée, Megan Fox.
Assuming Extra’s report was true, and that hasn’t been confirmed, there is no way for anyone to know what Conor McGregor wrote to Megan Fox over DM.
However, since the report claims McGregor’s DMs inspired the outburst at the VMAs, a lot of people assumed he wrote something inappropriate.
No matter what Conor McGregor wrote, it could be argued that he knew reaching out to a woman in a committed relationship was wrong. After all, during the buildup to McGregor’s 2021 fight against Dustin Poirier, Conor tried to insult his rival by saying his wife Jolie Poirier tried to DM him. After McGregor made that claim, Dustin said his rival made the whole thing up and many people believed Poirier.
Even if Extra’s report about Conor McGregor DMing Megan Fox was completely wrong, it still seems pretty clear that Conor McGregor was inappropriate with Megan Fox.
When McGregor went after Machine Gun Kelly on the MTV VMAs red carpet, Megan Fox was right there in the middle of it all.
Considering that Conor McGregor is a world-class fighter, it seems wrong for him to act like he wants to attack someone who wasn’t being aggressive to him. After all, if most people were in Machine Gun Kelly or Megan Fox’s shoes when McGregor was being aggressive like that, they’d be terrified.
