MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – Kazakhstan is interested in the Belarusian experience of creating a single expert agency – the State Forensic Examination Committee, Kazakhstan Minister of Justice Azamat Yeskaraev told reporters after a ceremony to sign an agreement with the Belarusian side on the development of cooperation in the field of forensic examination, BelTA has learned.
“It was interesting to hear and evaluate the experience of creating a single forensic examination agency, which is unmatched in the CIS. It is interesting to explore the positive aspects of this decision,” Azamat Yeskaraev said.
During a visit to Belarus the delegation of Kazakhstan agreed with the Justice Ministry to develop cooperation in legal matters and sign a memorandum to improve the legal framework for interaction between ministries.
According to Azamat Yeskaraev, the roundtable on the activities of the Justice Ministries of Belarus and Kazakhstan discussed the measures taken by the Justice Ministry of Belarus and the reforms being carried out.
At the roundtable, Kazakhstan colleagues were briefed about the Belarusian experience of the constitutional reform, development of the justice system of Belarus, including the organization of the system of enforcement bodies.
The State Forensic Examination Committee of Belarus began its activities on 1 July 2013. It was established by Decree No. 202 of 22 April 2013 to create the conditions for ensuring the independence of expert activities and making them more efficient. The department was formed on the basis of the State Medical Forensic Examination Service, examination agencies and departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Emergencies Ministry, the Defense Ministry and the justice Ministry.
