You’d think they’d want to talk some things out…
In case you were wondering if King Charles and Prince William have reached out to Prince Harry amid the release of his
bombshell filled memoir, nope. Not so much. According to a source who spoke to The Sun, “there has been no conversations or contact," including via text, email, or phone.
The outlet also noted that recent claims of a "reconciliation summit" ahead of King Charles’ coronation were "dismissed." Said claims came from The Times, who spoke to a royal source that "has the King’s ear" and "knows the Sussexes well," who said a meeting could happen in the "coming months."
There’s some debate, however, about whether William can do it—though according to insiders "he is loyal to the throne and understands what needs to be done for the country. Not everyone here behaved well, but Harry’s got to be able to sit down and say ‘we didn’t behave well either.’ That takes a lot of academic flexibility, which Harry isn’t great at.”
When it comes to timing, The Times’ source says “We’ve got to move on it, and get it done by April. Then, we need to get the wives in. The King needs a clear run for the coronation.”
So…guess we’ll see what happens?
