There will be a whole weekend of ceremonies and other huge events
Preparations are well underway for King Charles' Coronation, with London preparing for massive celebrations across central London and a huge influx of tourists and Royal Family fans. A three-day Bank Holiday also means an extra day off for celebrations. Many people across the UK are also setting up street parties in their local areas for all their neighbours.
As we get closer and closer to the big day, MyLondon will be covering live everything and anything you need to know for the celebrations, including the flypast route, the king's concert lineup and where to watch, the procession route, the weather in London for the long weekend, where to stay in Central London, and much more.
The coronation will be on Saturday, May 6, with the events starting at 11am. The grand day will see Charles officially crowned as king and Camilla as his queen. On Sunday, May 7, there will be a concert in honour of the king, with a whole host of live acts.

Some hotels have gone from £100 average up to as much as £600 a night – that's if you're lucky to find space.
A stay at The Resident Victoria costs £179 on the weeknight of Monday, May 1, jump to the following Saturday, May 6 and it will cost £569 for the same room. The Zedwell in Piccadilly Circus normally costs around £125 a night, at the Coronation weekend it's up to £196 as demand rises.
But it's not completely out of the question to find rates around £100 within walking distance of major London sites.
The cheapest available is a double room at the Travelodge on Central City Road, which is currently £102.99 for a SuperRoom. As expected being one of the cheapest prices it is quite far from Westminster Abbey, a 58-minute walk from its Finsbury location.
For Premier Inn, we found at one of London's easyHotel is £147.60. This is the given price for customers checking in on May 6 for one night at the South Kensington easyHotel.
Hotel locations in the city centre have nearly all sold out, but there are a select few still available, at a might higher cost than normally associated with the budget hotel chain.
The cheapest we've found is the Premier Inn Farringdon at £153 on Saturday, May 5 which is only a seven-minute walk from St Paul's Cathedral. To get this price bookers have to choose a non-refundable standard room, as flex rates on Premier Plus Rooms are currently as much as £221 for the same night.
The Copthorne Tara in South Kensington, is £204 on the night of May 5, for a standard double bedroom. A 23-minute walk from Westminster Abbey, again it's one of the closest hotels that is still available for the Coronation weekend.
Those booking the cheapest non-refundable rate also get continental breakfast included in the price, and there's also an option to upgrade to a total of £224 for free cancellation.

The RAF flypast for the King's Coronation is set to feature 60 aircraft flying in formation in groups including helicopters, fighter jets and the famous Red Arrows. This will take around six minutes.
The Royal Family will watch the dozens of aircraft passing overhead on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
It will feature the Red Arrows, 16 helicopters, and the Spitfires of the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. It is expected that the waves will also include the RAF's brand-new P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft, joint RAF and Royal Navy crewed state-of-the art F-35B Lightning II jets and transport aircraft from the RAF's Air Mobility Force.
The RAF's new Envoy IV CC1 aircraft is also expected to feature for the first time.
Here is an interactive map of the flypast route.

On Saturday, May 6, King Charles and Queen Camilla will travel from Buckingham Palace in The King's Procession to Westminster Abbey.
In the Diamond Jubilee Stage Coach, they will parade through London from Buckingham Palace. This will be followed by the first coronation service Britain has seen in 70 years.
The viewing areas for guests to watch the procession will open at 6am with the coronation service scheduled to start at 11am. The king will first travel the 1.3-mile route from the palace to Westminster Abbey, arriving there ahead of the service.
