Lollapalooza is partnering with several big-name brands to bring together its huge annual festival.
This years partners include:
In addition to the headliners, there will be at least 161 more acts at Lollapalooza.
In total, there will be at least 169 performers at the festival.
The headliners at Lollapalooza have been announced.
They include: Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Odesza, Lana Del Ray, Karol G, The 1975, and Tomorrow X Together.
The festival will also see dozens of other acts.
Lollapalooza tickets went on pre-sale on March 23, 2023, on the festival’s official site.
However, tickets are also available on trusted resale sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats.
Customers have the option of buying single-day passes to see their favorite acts or 4-day packages to enjoy the entire festival.
This festival began to expand internationally in 2010 to the following locations:
Kidzapalooza was first conceived by music producer Tor Hyams as a kid-friendly alternative to Lollapalooza for adults.
Since its initial debut in 2005, Kidzapalooza has been a hit and has played alongside every Lollapalooza.
The event offers a variety of activities for kids to enjoy, including games, design, and painting stations.
In another area of the venue, children can explore and experiment with musical instruments. The kids can participate in raffles and use a variety of other amenities.
The Covid-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of Kidzapalooza 2020.
Other venues have become interested in Kidzapalooza as a result of its growth, with the Hollywood Bowl organizing its own Kidzapalooza in 2008 as a stand-alone event.
The official passes in the first printing were $31.50.
Nonetheless, Lollapalooza ticket prices have significantly climbed over the years due to the festival's expansion and significant prominence in the music industry, per Money.com.
The weekend passes for Lollapalooza 2016, which cost $335, were more expensive than those for Lollapalooza 2015, which cost $275.
From 2016 to 2018, the cost of weekend passes remained the same. Weekend passes now cost $340 after a small increase of $5 in 2020.
This year, a 4-day admission ticket costs $365 per person.
The Chicago location of the original and flagship Lollapalooza typically experiences rapid ticket sales.
The four-day general passes for the 2016 event were sold out within roughly a day of the sale starting, per a Chicago Tribune article from that year.
Less than three hours after festival organizers unveiled the roster for the four-day music festival, the one-day passes were all gone.
Because of this issue, some who are unable to purchase the passes attempt to obtain them through alternative channels like Craigslist and StubHub.
This is a typical technique, although the costs on these websites are frequently much higher.
The festival's sales were exceptionally slow in 2018, thus they published the lineup a little over eight hours sooner than usual.
The festival was redesigned in 2005 by Farrell and the William Morris Agency in collaboration with Austin, Texas-based C3 Presents, giving it its current iteration as an annual Chicago event.
Live Nation Entertainment acquired a controlling stake in C3 Presentations in 2014.
In 2010, it was revealed that Lollapalooza will continue to be held in Chicago and would also make its international debut, with a branch of the festival taking place in Santiago, Chile on April 1-2, 2011, in collaboration with the Santiago-based business Lotus.
The idea for Lollapalooza originated in 1991 with the frontman of the band Jane's Addiction, Perry Farrell, who used it as a farewell tour.
The initial Lollapalooza tour featured a wide range of musicians and was a financial success.
It made stops in more than 20 North American cities.
Then, until 1997, Lollapalooza was held yearly before being brought back in 2003.
The festival traveled throughout North America from its inception through 1997 and its resurgence in 2003.
Poor ticket sales forced the cancellation of the 2004 tour when the organizers opted to increase the dates to two days per location.
The annual Lollapalooza music event takes place in Chicago's Grant Park over four days. In 1991, it began as a traveling event, but a few years later, Chicago became its permanent home.
Alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip-hop, and electronic dance music are just a few examples of different musical genres. Visual arts, nonprofits, and political organizations have all been featured during Lollapalooza.
Every year, the festival, which takes place in Grant Park, sells out and draws an estimated 400,000 visitors in July.
One of the biggest and most recognizable music festivals in the world, Lollapalooza is also one of the oldest in the United States.
The star-studded Lollapalooza lineup was revealed on Tuesday via the festival's official Twitter account.
Performers from Diplo, Jessie Reyez, Sabrina Carpenter, and Tom Odell are featured under the headliners.
TXT, also known as Tomorrow x Together, is the first K-pop outfit to perform as the main act at Lollapalooza.
TXT's historic participation will come after Blackpink, the first K-pop group to headline Coachella in Indio, California, in April.
On this, one fan tweeted: "TXT the first ever kpop group to perform in lollapalooza and now theyre headliners a year later… ON THE MAIN EVENT. TXT’S SO FAMOUS ITS CRAAAZY."
Per the Lollapalooza website, the Hotel Experience Package includes:
The prices for these packages range form $,151.55 to $5,830.07 per person plus taxes and fees that bring the sum up to $23,320.26 for the $5k package.
Many people have taken to social media to share that they've managed to purchase tickets to Lollapalooza.

The work of Indonesian illustrator Ardneks demonstrates his ability to blend a mash-up of intensely saturated colors, cross-cultural allusions, vintage design sensibility, and dreamy tropicália, per the ticketing website.
He transforms odd and outlandish cosmic images, exotic animals, and plants into his distinctive psychedelic style. Khruangbin, Moon Duo, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Kikagaku Moyo are just a few of the several worldwide acts he has previously collaborated with.
The official 2023 Lollapalooza, which was designed by an illustrator from Indonesia, is on sale right now.
It's described on the Front Gate Tickets website: "Featuring an array of bright and bold colors, the Lollapalooza poster captures the essence of the festival's energetic and lively atmosphere.
