“I am also looking forward to our own Perth Glory matching it with some of the best players in the world.
“The two blockbuster events have been locked in ahead of the highly anticipated FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 when Perth hosts five spectacular matches as part of the world’s biggest women’s sporting event.
“We know these high-profile sporting matches have a strong economic impact and I’m pleased the WA Government, through Tourism WA and its partners, have continued to secure these major sporting events.
“Hosting these top teams from across the globe attracts more visitors to our State, which means more hotels are filled and more dollars are spent in our excellent restaurants, bars, cafes, and local businesses, and firms up our reputation as one of the sporting capitals of the Southern Hemisphere.”
