A total of 271 green bonds have been listed on the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX) so far this year, as of 30 September 2022. The total number of sustainable bonds listed on the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX) has surpassed 1,500.
“As of 30 September, there are 1,505 green, social, sustainability and sustainability-linked bonds displayed on the LGX, raising a total of €812bn for sustainable development across the world,” a spokeswoman for the Luxembourg Stock Exchange told Delano on 17 October.
The LGX had just over 100 sustainable bonds listed at the end of the first year that it operated, in 2016. The figure surpassed 1,000 in May 2020.
