A 46-year-old Butler man died at a Middlesex Township plant Tuesday, according to the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
The cause of death was traumatic asphyxiation, said Deputy Coroner John Hanovick. The man was cleaning machinery at the plant when his arm got caught in machinery.
Fire and EMS units were called to Vorteq Coil Finishers, 125 McFann Rd., at 3:30 p.m.
The company works with steel and aluminum coils, according to its website.
The name of the person who died has not yet been released.
