Charlie Puth Lists Mid-Century Beverly Hills Home
Grammy-nominated pop singer Charlie Puth has listed his Beverly Hills, California, home for nearly $17 million. Located in the exclusive Trousdale Estates neighborhood, the home was built in the mid-1960s and was designed by Rex Lotery. Recently renovated, the 4,800-square-foot home has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a split-level living space. The home is known as “the de Cordova House,” as longtime producer of “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” Freddie de Cordova and his wife, Janet, previously owned the home. Somerset Is the Hottest County for Rentals in England
U.K. rental demand is the highest in Somerset, a county in South West England, according to research from Zero Deposit. In Somerset, which is where Bath is located, half of rental properties have been leased. Bedfordshire and Suffolk closely followed, each with 49% of rentals snapped up, and West Sussex and Essex rounded out the top five counties with highest rental demand, respectively. Rental demand was lowest in West Yorkshire, with only 19% of properties leased. London had almost equally as low demand, with 20% of rentals occupied. Sam Reynolds, chief executive at Zero Deposit, said the rental market as a whole is more subdued in the final quarter of the year, “so it’s not surprising to see such a widespread reduction in demand levels.” PropertyWire

A luxury beachfront home in New South Wales, Australia, has a kid-free zone worked into its design. The five-bedroom, five-bathroom home sold on Friday for A$9.45 million (US$6.32 million), and it offers a completely separate “adult relaxation zone.” This parent retreat is on the upper level of a round guest house that’s attached to the main home overlooking the saltwater pool and features two vanities and a large walk-in closet. 2023 Was the Slowest Year for Las Vegas Real Estate in a Decade
Last year was the slowest for home sales in the Las Vegas area in at least 10 years, according to a report by Las Vegas Realtors. Still, home prices increased slightly as supply remained tight. The median price for single-family homes sold in Southern Nevada during December was $449,900, up 5.9% from December 2022. By the end of the year, there were 3,766 single-family homes listed for sale without any offer, down 39.4% from the previous year. In total, Las Vegas Realtors reported 29,069 sales of existing local homes, condos and townhomes in 2023, down from 2022’s 35,584 and the fewest sales since at least 2014. World Property Journal
