Can’t resist carb loading on fries? We’ve got news for you. A world-first giant fries restaurant is opening right here in Sydney and it sounds like a chippie lover’s dream. It’s been dubbed the fry-thru pop-up restaurant and it coming to town courtesy of Macca’s. At nearly five metres in height, the restaurant also resembles a giant packet of fries so it’s hard to miss. Find it at Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour throughout the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Along with exclusively dishing out fries, Macca’s will serve limited-edition sauces of the world condiments which include the Outback BBQ Sauce and Wasabi-flavoured Mayo Sauce, inspired by participating countries in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. And there’s no need to fret if you’re not a football fan, the restaurant will be dishing out the goods for both people attending the festival and the general public so expect a fries frenzy.
Macca’s is also launching a variety of experiences outside stadiums in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide including an interactive photo booth that gives personalised collectible cards to eager fans.
You can find the fry-thru restaurant in Tumbalong Park, Darling Harbour from Thursday, July 20 to Sunday, August 20. Happy munching!
