■Celebrate the High Street Coffee House’s fourth anniversary on Friday at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Boscawen Congregational Church. Singer/songwriter/artist Tom Pirozzoli is the featured performer. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the music begins at 7 p.m. Tom will open the evening, followed by open mic performers from 8 to 10 a.m. and Tom will return to close out the evening. Admission is free and a donation basket will be passed. Light refreshments will be served.
■State General Elections will be held on Nov. 8. Voting will be at the Boscawen Elementary School, and polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You will be able to register at the polls on Election Day. ■It is requested that decorations and like items be removed from the Maple Grove Cemetery by Nov. 1 for the annual fall cleanup. Any items that are deemed to be obtrusive to the maintenance of the cemetery will be removed. Items will be kept for retrieval by owners for two weeks, after which they will be disposed of at the discretion of the Cemetery Trustees.
■On Nov. 10 at 9 a.m. CES students from Kindergarten to Grade 5 will pay tribute to veterans in a multitude of heartfelt ways. All community veterans are invited to attend this special tribute as CES students perform to show their appreciation to those who have served. Coffee and refreshments will be served in the school library following the assembly.

■Voting for the State General Election will take place on Nov. 8 at the Canterbury Elementary School. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and will be under the direction of the Town’s Moderator, Jim Miller. You can register to vote at the polls, receive and cast your ballot, and make any necessary changes to your registration card that day, including changing your party affiliation.
